As it was mentioned before, without my students the book would have never come out. I consider myself fortunate that I can teach while I`m simultaneously continuing the work on the whole series of books for mastering Norwegian. The courses take place in Frogner, Sørum borough, 25 minutes away from Oslo either by car or train. My courses take a maximum of 8 students in each group due to class size limits.

A great beginner group which started in Oktober 2016. All the students are very diligent, so progression goes fast. Our second language is English, as we have international students in that group. “Norsk er gøy” is our main source, but additionally, we are engaged in many other activities.

Able group of beginners with whom we started from lesson one from “Norsk er gøy” in Oktober 2016. Some students had been learning Norwegian which makes the level higher than it is stated. “Norsk er gøy” is our main source, but additionally, we are engaged in a number of different activities such as: playing games, listening comprehension tasks and, of course, we are having a nice time together 🙂

Engaged and gifted group which has already learned a lot of Norwegian. Of course, we cover ’’Norsk er gøy” (A2 level), but we are chiefly focused on practising speaking skills. Apart from that, we do listening comprehension tasks, we read simpler articles ( e.g. from ’’Klar tale”) and watch Norwegian documentaries and play games.

Great group, most participants can say a lot in Norwegian, but we still practice conversation on all possible topics. We discuss about the text from ’’Norsk er gøy”, but also from ’’ Klar tale” and many other sources. It is always fun to watch programs in Norwegian, sing or play games, so those activities are done as well.

Super group at high level, basically most participants brush up on Norwegian and expand vocabulary. We cover different aspects of a foreign language development: listening comprehension, writing, grammar, but most time is devoted to holding discussions and vocabulary expansion
I cannot offer free places in some of the groups, but it is changeable when the stage of the course is finished (every 9 weeks), so you can contact any time or have your name put on the waiting list. It is possible to start new groups, but classes have to be run in daytime (they have to be finished at 4:30 p.m. at the latest). I am a mum of two wonderful boys and I must find time for them, so I am sorry but there is no possibility to start new afternoon classes. A new course can be started when at least 5 students are willing to participate in it 🙂 Level is dependent on students’ needs.
Most of my students come from Poland so in groups at low level Polish is used as an auxiliary language. But if there are some students who come from different countries (and they also started to attend my classes) English is used for clarification.
