Who am I?
Before I started to teach Norwegian
My adventure with Norwegian began 12 years ago when, as a nineteen -year-old girl, I started to study Norwegian philology at the Adam Mickiewicz University of Poznan. The scholarship within ERASMUS program enabled me to study at the University of Oslo for 2 terms in 2006. I was feeling in Norway so good that after graduation I moved to this beautiful country. As a student in Norway, of course, I was employed in different places as a waitress, an assistant in the kindergarten, a teacher of the mother tongue and a substitute teacher in primary school.
Undoubtedly, the whole gained knowledge helped me, inter alia, to write about Maria.
Teaching Norwegian
I started teaching in 2005, then I was still a second-year student responsible for my first group of students. At that time I realized that teaching is my passion and I was absolutely sure of that.
I became a full-time teacher in 2009 when I started my professional career as a consultant and a teacher on specialist courses for Polish native speakers looking for jobs arranged by NAV. Later in 2012 I went on maternity leave. Although, in my view, the role of mum is the most important in my life and at the same time brings me a lot of joy, I restarted my teaching with pleasure. This time I took a chance on my own business venture by running Norwegian courses for small groups, which I keep doing until now. I was running a lot of Norwegian courses in Intera Education language school in Oslo for students coming from all over the world. Extremely able and insatiable thirst for knowledge students from that school made great contributions to the book.
The students from all the above- mentioned places were a source of many ideas and inspirations and I will be eternally grateful to them. My family, friends, colleagues from work supported me a lot, lent an ear to me, thus inspiring me for further actions. Thank you so much, I love You!
